               Brief Description about PMRF Work Progress

1. Project I: Ultrafast Bessel beam employed Ag nanostructures for trace level detection of the real-time explosive molecule (Picric acid), Pesticide (Thiram), Dye molecule: In this study, we report the fabrication of Bessel beam shaped silver (Ag) nanostructures employing a picosecond (30 ps, 10 Hz) laser with different input energies. Subsequently, the response of the surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) signal from these Ag nanostructures was investigated for the trace level (500 nM) detection of an explosive (Picric Acid) molecule, one pesticide (50 nm Thiram), MB (dye).

2. Project II: Femtosecond Non-diffracting Bessel beam structured ladder-like LIPSS, engaged in active sensing.

 

3.  Project III: Fabrication of novel tri-metallic nanostructures engaging fs BB.

4. Project IV: Generation of tri-metallic dispersive nano colloids with fs laser ablation (LAA) technique

5. Project V: Femtosecond vortex beam generation and to study its interaction with metals for sensing application purposes.
